The Financial Literacy Training event for the 2024 CDF Grants and Loans beneficiaries in Mporokoso Constituency was successfully held on Friday, 4th October 2024. The training targeted 79 Grant beneficiaries and 29 Loan recipients aimed to equip participants with essential financial management skills.
Sessions covered topics such as budgeting, record-keeping, debt Management, non-misappropriation of empowerment funds and importance of loan repayment. The event was well-attended with Community groups, Women groups, youth organizations and cooperatives. The participants were given an opportunity to interact and discuss topics presented to them.
The successful execution of the training marks a significant step towards ensuring the effective and accountable utilization of CDF resources, contributing to the sustainable development of the Constituency.
