ECZ COMMISSIONER CALLS FOR CREDIBLE VOTER REGISTRATION

The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has intensified its training sessions for the 2025 Mass Voter Registration exercise, targeting District Voter Registration Officers (DROs), District Voter Education Coordinators (DVECs), and Human Resource Coordinators in Kasama.

The briefing was officiated by ECZ Commissioner, Ambassador Ndioyi Mutiti, who underscored the importance of the programme in equipping officers with the necessary skills to deliver a credible, inclusive, and transparent voter registration process ahead of the 2026 General Elections.

Ambassador Mutiti urged participants to uphold integrity, professionalism, and accountability, stressing that the success of the registration exercise will depend on teamwork, commitment, and a strong focus on inclusion and accessibility ensuring that no eligible voter is left behind.
